What it is
Geodocs is a project management platform built on top of a map. Every site, plant, network segment or property is a folder with its area drawn, carrying its own forms, deadlines, owners, budget and files. What the crew records in the field shows up on the same map the board opens at the office, with no spreadsheet in between.
What sets it apart from an ordinary task manager is that location is part of the data, not a text field. What sets it apart from a traditional geographic information system is that the map is not there to analyse things later: it is the screen where the day's work happens, including on the technician's phone, with no internet.

The one who coordinates shapes how the work happens
The office decides what needs to be captured and builds the form: daily log, inspection, incident, measurement. It sets who does it, by when, and what needs approval before it counts as done. From there it is just the map: every site with its area drawn, every task on its point, the delay in red before anyone calls to complain.

The one out on site proves what was done
The technician opens the task on the phone and fills it in right there, in the mud, with no signal needed. A photo only goes through with coordinates, altitude and time written inside the file, and the day's route is recorded by GPS. This is not surveillance: it is the proof that the crew was where they said they were, in the form the measurement and the audit will ask for later.

What system should I use to manage several sites at once?
Geodocs is built for exactly that: each site is a folder with its area drawn on the map, carrying its own deadlines, owners, budget and forms. Instead of opening one project at a time, you see every work front on the same screen and spot from afar which one is late, which one blew the budget and where the crew is today.
Is there a field app that works without internet?
Yes. The Geodocs app, for iPhone and Android, keeps data on the device itself: the technician opens the task, fills in the form, takes photos and logs hours with no signal bars at all. The area map stays downloaded and, when the connection returns, everything uploads on its own, with nobody pressing send.
How do I know the crew was really on site?
Geodocs records the day's route by GPS and automatically recognises which site the person was on, comparing their position with the project's drawn area. Photos come out with coordinates, altitude and time written inside the file. It works offline and depends on the worker's explicit consent, and they can check at any moment what is being recorded.
How do I stop running projects on WhatsApp and spreadsheets?
The problem with WhatsApp is not the app, it is the photo that disappears among two hundred messages. In Geodocs every photo and every update is born inside the project it belongs to, and the budget lives next to the expenses that draw it down. Searching stops being scrolling up a chat and becomes opening the site.
Can I build my own forms, like a daily site report?
You can, without writing code. You build the form for each project, task or expense type by choosing the fields, the order, what is required and the options of each choice. Jos.IA drafts the first version from a conversation, and renaming a field or an option later erases nothing that was already filled in.
How do I track hours and labour cost per site?
The technician starts and stops work on the phone, and Geodocs attributes those hours to the project they were on. The office sees totals per person and per work front, with cost calculated from each person's hourly rate, approves manual entries and exports for payroll.
Do I need to know GIS to use it?
No. The Geodocs map behaves like any phone map: you search an address and draw the site's area with your finger, or by walking the ground with GPS. Anyone working with geospatial data can upload shapefiles, KML and GeoJSON as layers, but that is optional and nobody needs it to get started.
How long does it take to get the company running on it?
Minutes, not months. You tell Jos.IA how your company works and it builds the folders, the forms, the statuses and the access profiles in your vocabulary. There are ready-made templates for nine industries, and the spreadsheet you already use can be imported. The trial is 14 days with full access, no credit card.
Does it work for solar plants, power grids and water utilities?
