Field
Drawing and measuring
The outline of the ground comes from the technician's walk, not a sketch on paper.
In the office you draw points, lines and polygons over the map, with undo and vertex editing. In the field, the app records the outline while the person walks the perimeter, and keeps recording with the screen off. Both end up as the same geometry on the same map.
- Point, line and polygon on the map, with undo and draggable vertices
- GPS tracing: records as you walk, at three precision levels
- Measure distance, radius and area, in metric or imperial
- Style per layer: colour, icon, width, dash pattern and opacity
The colour follows the data on its own
Instead of colouring each item by hand, you set the rule once on the template: colour by status, by a choice field, or by deadline. The late site turns red on the map with nobody updating anything, and whoever opens the map reads the situation before clicking.
- Colour by status, by choice field or by date rule
- Ready-made deadlines: overdue, due today, next 7 or 30 days
- Map label taken from the attribute you choose
- The same style in the office and on the phone
